Andrea Pirlo has lifted the lid on the dressing room talk

Former Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo has lifted the lid on the dressing room talk after Paul Pogba joined the club on a free transfer back in 2012. The French midfielder had been a Manchester United youth team product, but he was allowed to leave the club on a free transfer.

Juventus had to pay a training compensation fee of £ 800,000. Even though he was still a teenager, Pirlo claimed that everyone in the dressing room could see that Pogba was about to become one of the best in the world. Yet, they were amazed at how at how a big club like United would let him leave on a free.

Pirlo is not surprised that Pogba has become the most expensive player in the world. He has just made an £ 89 million move to Old Trafford. Pogba is seen as a complete midfielder because he is someone who can score goals, defend at the back, and also conduct play from the midfield. Even though his record in recent years has not been great, manager José Mourinho is the type of character to get the best out of a player like Pogba. Further, at 23 years of age, the midfielder has the best years ahead of him.
