Skriniar dismisses speculation linking to Manchester United

Milan Skriniar has revealed that he is happy to stay at Inter Milan despite a of transfer rumours linking him with a switch to the Premier league. Tottenham and Manchester United appear to be interested in signing him. The defender has been with Inter since 2017 after making a € 34 million switch from Sampdoria. Since then, he has been one of the top centre backs in Italian football as he has been able to command his position with great aplomb. The defender’s contract with Inter runs until 2023 and he was last offered an extension back in 2019.


Now with Inter back at the top of the table by competing for the title, it is clear thatSkriniar is not want to be leaving the San Siro anytime soon. Earlier in the campaign,Milan Skriniar was hit by coronavirus and he was not involved for several matches. Now, though, the Slovakian is back in the first-team reckoning and he has played a major role in Inter staying with Juventus at the top of the table. NEWCASTLE IN LOAN BID FOR TRIO

Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce is prepared to raid his former club Manchester United for players in a bid to bolster his squad for the second half of the season. The ex-Manchester United centre back has targeted three players in the current January transfer window to boost his team for the remainder of the season.This is according to the report from 90min which revealed that Steve Bruce is exploring the possibility of taking Manchester United players Brandon Williams, Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard on loan in this transfer window.


Young Manchester United defender Brandon Williams is a versatile fullback as he can play either on the left side of defence or on the right side of defence. He broke into the Manchester United first team in the last campaign but he has not featured much this term due to the summer signing of Brazilian left-back Alex Telles from FC Porto. Brandon Williams was the deputy to first choice left-back Luke Shaw at Manchester United last season but that has changed this season with Alex Telles and Luke Shaw now vying closely for the right to be the first choice left-back at the club. LINDELOF DOUBTFUL FOR CARABAO CUP SEMIS

Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof is a doubt for the Carabao Cup semi-final clash with city rivals Manchester City with a place in the final in April up for grabs. Manchester United play hosts to Manchester City at the Theatre of Dreams on Wednesday night hoping to seal a final place in the Carabao Cup ahead of their opponents. Manchester City are the holders of the competition having won it for the last three seasons. They saw off Manchester United in the semi-finals of the competition last term via the away goals rule and the Red Devils will be hoping to avoid a repeat of the outcome of thatManchester Derby tie with the Citizens at the same stage this season.

MANCHESTER UNITED SIGN WAYNE ROONEY’S SON KAI

 

Manchester United were at the Bramall Lane on Thursday night taking on bottom-table team Sheffield United looking to climb up the Premier League table. However, that was not the only activity the club was engaging in, as there was something else going on behind the scenes.

MAN UNITED EXEMPTED FROM TITLE RACE

 

Manchester United have been exempted from the Premier League title race by one of their former players. Premier League legend Michael Owen spent three years at the Theatre of Dreams between 2009 and 2012 but he believes that his former club is not in a position to fight for the title this season.


Owen was part of the Manchester United squad that won the 2010/11 league title having moved to the club from Newcastle United at the start of the previous campaign. He signed for the Red Devils on a free transfer after the end of his contract with the Magpies.

SOLSKJAER EYEING THREE JANUARY SALES

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has decided to move on three of his players in the January transfer window. The 2021 winter transfer market opens in the first month of next year and the Red Devils manager has targeted the sale of three players according to the Daily Mirror.


Solskjaer wants to sell the trio of Sergio Romero, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones in January. The three players are surplus to requirements at Old Trafford having been left out of the 25-man Premier League squad.

Harry Maguire reacts after Manchester United’s Europa League semi-final loss

 

Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has expressed his disappointment after the club were eliminated from the Europa League at the semi-final stage. The Red Devils faced Sevilla in the last four of the competition and they failed to make the most of the chances over the course of the 90 minutes.


Throughout the game, they were the better side in the attacking scheme of things, but they were made to rue for squandering clear-cut scoring opportunities. On the other hand, they were caught out of position defensively for both goals conceded and that has meant that they have failed to win a trophy for the third year running.

Matic Extends His Contract With United To 2023

 

Nemanja Matic signed a new contract with Manchester United extending his stay at the club to 2023. In the current season of United, he had made huge contributions to the club and his hard work for the team was rewarded with the extended contract. Even though the player had a slow startat the beginning of the season which created doubts regarding the player’s fu

ture at Old Trafford but later he was brought back to the team.

Matic was planning to leave the club if the playing time for him in the club was to be limited and his current contract with the club was coming to an end in this summer. Earlier the club has offered him an extension of one year, but now they have changed the decision by offering him three more years at the club.

Ole Gunnar admits that his time has a long way to go up

 

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows that his team is behind Liverpool and Manchester City and should put more work on the team of they are planning to defeat them in the next season of Premier League. In the current season, they are fighting for their way into the third position of the points table. They only need one point to secure their place to the Champions League and will be facing Leicester City for their last match in this season.


Earlier in the current season, it seemed like United will not make it to the top four but since January they have been doing great. They have made a comeback in the second half of the seasonand to finish off the season on the third spot is the best outcome they could expect. With their rivals, Liverpool and Manchester City on the lead the celebrations will be quieter.
