Fellaini want’s trophy haul

Marouane Fellaini is desperate to win trophies after completing his ‘dream move’ to Manchester United, according to the Daily Star.

The Belgium international completed a £27.5m move from Everton at the eleventh hour on transfer deadline, and is set to make his debut for the club against Crystal Palace a week on Saturday, once he returns from international duty.

Meanwhile, claims that the 25 year old himself paid £4m of the transfer fee have been denied by his former club Everton, Sky Sports understands.

Shortly after the transfer was completed on Monday evening, a number of reports surfaced which suggested that the player himself contributed to the transfer.

However, the Toffee’s director of communications Alan Myers took to Twitter to deny the rumours, and insist that United will pay the full fee.

Elsewhere, the Metro understand that David Moyes will again attempt to sign Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrara in January.

United were reportedly scared off completing a deal this time around as the La Liga side wanted the whole fee of around £30.4m by the deadline.

Finally, Wayne Rooney has been ruled out of England’s forthcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine due to the head injury which kept him out of Sunday’s defeat at Anfield.
