Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze has declared that he would be interested in signing for Manchester United.
The 20 year old is considered to be one of the best young players in Europe, with several clubs keen on securing his services.
However, he has maintained that any potential move is “still a bit away”, maintaining that he is happy at the Bundesliga champions, where he has scored 14 goals this season.
Gotze is in line to win his 21st international cap against Kazakhstan this evening.
Meanwhile, The Daily Mail have reported that Juventus will make a move for United striker Javier Hernandez, if they are unsuccessful in their pursuit of Liverpool’s Luis Suarez.
The Mexican international has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in the summer, having fallen behind both Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie in the pecking order.
However, despite limited playing time, the 24 year old has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season.
Finally, Wilfred Zaha scored a stunning goal to set England U21’s on their way to a 3-0 victory against Romania last night.
The 20 year old is currently on loan at Crystal Palace, having signed for United in January.
