Januzaj edging nearer international decision

The Mirror understands that Adnan Januzaj is ready to commit his international future to England.

The eighteen year old has the option to play for a number of countries including Belgium, Turkey and Serbia, while Kosovo are another option, should they be granted recognition by FIFA.

The 18 year old is understood to have informed friends that he is keen to play for England, whilst stating that his father will have the final say, once he becomes eligible.

Under FIFA rules, the Belgian-born starlet will have to wait until the summer of 2016 if he is to wear the Three Lions, as by that time he will have been a resident for the required five years.

Meanwhile, Wayne Rooney believes that the United squad will benefit for the warm weather training they are currently undergoing in Dubai, according to the Mirror.

With the side out of the FA Cup, they have no match until their trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday week, and Rooney insists that the trip will benefit them ahead of a tough run of fixtures.

The game at Selhurt Park is followed by the first leg of their Champions League last sixteen clash with Olympiakos, while they face West Bromwich Albion and Liverpool before the second leg three weeks later.
