Mata hails United pulling power

Juan Mata believes that Manchester United still have the ability to sign the world’s best talent, according to the Daily Star.

The Spain international became the clubs all time record signing when he completed a £37.1m move from Chelsea during the January transfer window, and is confident that players of his calibre can follow him into Old Trafford.

David Moyes is reported to have £100m to spend on new players when the window reopens in the summer, and the Scot is expected to oversee a huge overall as the club attempt to get back on track after a disappointing defence of the Premier League trophy.

Meanwhile, Darren Fletcher has been recalled to the Scotland squad for the first time since 2012, the Mirror understands.

The midfielder returned to club action in December after battling against ulcerative colitis disease, and is now set to feature for Gordon Strachan’s side against Poland on March 5th.

Elsewhere, Adnan Januzaj has turned down the chance to play for Kosovo, according to the Metro.

The 19 year old, was born in Belgium but is also eligible to play for Albania and Turkey, while he could represent England on residency grounds in three years’ time.
