Ole Gunnar Solskjaer describes Axel Tuanzebe as the future of the club

Manchester United manager Solskjaer has predicted Axel Tuanzebe to have a bright future with the club following his standout performance against Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup. The youngster has been a regular feature the club’s pre-season tour of the United States following an impressive 2018/19 season on loan with Aston Villa.

Speaking in a press conference, Solskjaer heaped praise on Tuanzebe, who played through 61 minutes of the club’s 1-0 friendly win over Inter Milan, he said:“He has got a future at Man United, yes, of course he has. Today was the best for him, playing against different opposition. Against Leeds, we knew he could play at that level and that is why he didn’t play against Leeds. Now, he has showed today that he is very capable at this level. Axel is going to be the future of this club.”

Solskjaer speaks about Daniel James’ potential after recruitment

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken about the potential of Daniel James shortly after the Welshman was confirmed as the club’s first summer signing. The Red Devils already confirmed an agreement with Swansea City for the attacker earlier this month and they have now announced that he has officially penned a contract with the club.

Speaking after the occasion, Solskjaer praised the qualities of the highly-rated youngster and said that his exceptional pace could be one of the attributes to look at during the forthcoming campaign, he told the club’s official website: “Daniel is an exciting young winger with lots of skills, vision, exceptional pace and a good work ethic. He had a great season with Swansea and has all the attributes needed to become a Manchester United player. We are delighted and we are all looking forward to working with him. This is the perfect environment for Daniel to continue his development.”
