Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken about the potential of Daniel James shortly after the Welshman was confirmed as the club’s first summer signing. The Red Devils already confirmed an agreement with Swansea City for the attacker earlier this month and they have now announced that he has officially penned a contract with the club.
Speaking after the occasion, Solskjaer praised the qualities of the highly-rated youngster and said that his exceptional pace could be one of the attributes to look at during the forthcoming campaign, he told the club’s official website: “Daniel is an exciting young winger with lots of skills, vision, exceptional pace and a good work ethic. He had a great season with Swansea and has all the attributes needed to become a Manchester United player. We are delighted and we are all looking forward to working with him. This is the perfect environment for Daniel to continue his development.”
