Manchester United manager Solskjaer has predicted Axel Tuanzebe to have a bright future with the club following his standout performance against Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup. The youngster has been a regular feature the club’s pre-season tour of the United States following an impressive 2018/19 season on loan with Aston Villa.
Speaking in a press conference, Solskjaer heaped praise on Tuanzebe, who played through 61 minutes of the club’s 1-0 friendly win over Inter Milan, he said:“He has got a future at Man United, yes, of course he has. Today was the best for him, playing against different opposition. Against Leeds, we knew he could play at that level and that is why he didn’t play against Leeds. Now, he has showed today that he is very capable at this level. Axel is going to be the future of this club.”
Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic believes that the club can go all the way in this year’s Champions League, ESPN understands.
The Premier League champions have suffered disappointment in their last two European campaigns; losing to Real Madrid in the last sixteen last season, and failing to progress from the group stages the year before that.
