Manchester United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan admits that the Red Devils face a ‘very difficult period’ after Paul Pogba pulled his hamstring in the Champions League opener against Basel. The France international was forced off the pitch in the first-half of the 3-0 victory over the Swiss champions, and initial reports have suggested that the midfield could be out for up to 12 weeks.
While Jose Mourinho has played down the reports, Mkhitaryan believes the club will face a tough period without their leading midfielder, but he is confident that the manager will guide them through any struggles, he told SFR Sport: “It’s hard, because he’s a top player for us.
